Late last week, Apple started to sell Beatles-themed iTunes Gift Cards in stores and online. All cards feature vintage pictures of the iconic band, in various settings. The online versions of the cards range from $50 to a whopping $1,000 – enough to buy the whole Beatles catalog, and then some. The cards sold at brick and mortar retail stores offer values ranging from $50 to $149.
The $149 card, called “The Beatles Box Set”, is not your usual gift card, as it specifically designed to let you download the band’s studio albums (all albums), Past Masters (volumes I & II), a live recording of the band at the Washington Coliseum taped in 1964, and a couple of documentaries.
