Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard for iPhone – Screenshots Released

Fans of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six franchise, rejoice, as developer Gameloft finally released the first screenshots of its upcoming iPhone game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard. According to the developer, the game will be “the first real time tactical FPS for iPhone,” and the game will allow you to control a squad of soldiers, and not just one player, a feat that should make this upcoming tactical first-person shooter a lot more fun to play than most Gameloft FPS. The plot of the game is fairly straightforward, as terrorists have taken over an embassy, and Rainbow Six elite soldiers are sent to take them to custody by any means necessary, and to release the hostages trapped in the building.

Except the trailer below, no video of the game has been posted yet. Nevertheless, the screenshots already give a good glimpse of what the game will look like, and the graphics simply look amazing. The developer hasn’t communicated on a potential release date, however the game is expected to hit store shelves within the next couple of weeks. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard will be the second Tom Clancy game to hit the App Store, after Splinter Cell Conviction for iPhone and iPad.
