Burn the Rope Finally Landed on the iPad

Fans of the Big Blue Bubble game Burn the Rope, rejoice, as the developer just ported its smash hit to the iPad. The new version, unsurprisingly called Burn the Rope HD, launched yesterday, and his available for download on the App Store. If you’ve never heard about Burn the Rope so far, the game is a challenging puzzler where the goal is to try to burn as much rope as you can in each level. The fire only burns upwards, leaving you to rotate the puzzle to keep your flame alive. As you progress through the levels, obstacles such as bugs crawling along the rope will be introduced, to increase the difficulty of the game, or to help you progress in the game, depending on the type of bug. The iPad version is just as fun and addictive as the iPhone version, and the 112 levels offered by the app should keep you busy for hours. One caveat though, the game is on the pricey side, as it costs $4.99, $3 more than the iPhone version.
