long lines could be seen at most Apple retail locations around the world. As reported by Pocket-lint, the device is out of stock at most retail locations in the United Kingdom, including both Regent Street and Covent Garden Apple stores in London. The stores expect to receive new iPad 2 shipments as early as Monday, but did not confirm how many units will be available for sale. The situation seems very similar in other cities throughout Europe, including Paris, Rome and Berlin. The iPad 2 launched yesterday in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The device will also be launched in Japan, Singapore, Korea and Hong Kong next month.
