Blogsy – Control your Blogger or WordPress Blog Directly from your iPad

If like iOSnoops, you happen to use WordPress as your blogging platform, you might want to check out one of the best blogging apps out there recently launched by developer Fomola, called Blogsy. The app will give you full control over your Blogger or WordPress blog, directly from your iPad. Other apps such as the official WordPress app already offer access to your blog, however, these apps are incredibly limited, and make it extremely difficult to create good looking posts, without having some background in HTML. Blogsy, on the other hand, makes posting a breeze. The app was designed specifically to take full advantage of the iPad’s touch interface. Adding photos and videos to your posts is extremely simple, simply drag them from the media sidebar, and drop them wherever you want – however, note that the app cannot upload pics from your iPad’s picture library to your blog just yet, it can only use pictures already available in your blog’s media library, or available online. Styling your posts takes no time, and adding links is extremely simple, thanks to the app’s rich – yet straightforward – interface, as powerful as the native WordPress interface.

Blogsy also allows you to drag and drop images from Flickr, Picasa, YouTube and Google Image Search, or to use the built-in web browser, to include new pics and videos to your posts. Just like the admin WordPress interface, you can align your pictures, and resize them. Typical features such as the ability to set or create labels, tags and categories, toggle comments on and off, and set visibility are present in the app. You can schedule your posts, write drafts, and send them to others for review directly from the app. Note that since this version of Blogsy does not provide the ability to upload images from the device library, its price is only $2.99 for a short time. Once the next release will come with full uploading support, the app’s price will go up, so you might want to buy the app as soon as possible. More details about the app here.
