Thus far, the Google+ app for iOS simply refused to install on any other device than the iPhone, and earlier today, Google finally launched an updated version of the app able to work on both iPad and iPod touch– iPad users, do not rejoice too fast, as the app does not offer an interface optimized for the tablet yet. The update also adds additional huddle settings, and supports aggregated circle add notifications. Google+ helps you connect with friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances who also use Google+, and makes sharing the right things with people a lot simpler. The app will allow you to send messages to the people you care about most, and will let you stay in the loop about what your friends are sharing and where they’re checking in.
Just like the web version of Google+, the iOS app allows you to gain access to your circles, share anything with your friends, get updates from your circles, and see what people are saying about things nearby. The app can be downloaded here.
