Bike Maps shows you maps of bike routes, lanes, and trails everywhere in the world. It’s a fantastic tool for travelling to new cities and great for exploring your local neighborhoods.
■ DETAILED MAPS include bicycle routes, elevation, some local businesses (e.g. bike shops, cafes, etc.), and transit stops
■ GET DIRECTIONS for bicycle-friendly routes from point A to point B via dedicated bicycle trails, bike lanes, quiet residential streets, etc. Find out the total distance of a route so you can also use it as a ride planning tool.
■ RIDE TRACKING saves the GPS path of your route, and shows you current speed and distance as you go
■ REVIEW PAST RIDES on the map and export your path as an image or GPX file
Before downloading this app, we recommend you check the website http://opencyclemap.org to make sure your town is covered by the map. Cities with the most extensive maps of cycling facilities:
