Ranking - Photo-Video (iPhone)
IMPORTANT: recommended devices: iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, but *not* the iPhone 5 yet (see below)
The application features a full-screen viewfinder, with a set of framelines for the classic 35 and 50mm focal lengths. It offers a minimalist interface, with a shutter and an exposure setting button, similar to the simple manual controls of rangefinder cameras.
. Fullscreen Viewfinder, no shutter blackout
. Compose photographs with frame lines
. Select 35mm or 50mm frames to find the right angle of view
. Set focus manually or automatically
. Use the integrated light meter to adjust exposure
. Simple design, minimalist interface
. Pictures just go to the camera roll
Note: application not recommended for iPad2 or iPod Touch 4G which have limited camera sensors.
Warning: not compatible with the iPhone 5 yet; an update is in the works
. New manual focus mode
. New focus lock indicator
. New integrated light meter
. New user settings for shutter, focus and exposure modes (see central Settings app.)
. Extra shutter release indicator to help with devices in silent mode
. New Background save indicator
. Fix white screen issue, by releasing the exposure lock on sleep/resume
. Minor bug fixes
. Misc. performance and usability improvements
. Initial support for the new iPhone 5 sensor
