Dolphin Browser now Available on iPad

Mobile Safari is a great, simple browser that gets the job done. But if you’re looking for a more feature-rich app to browse the web, Apple’s default browser falls short in many categories, as it offers no social networks integration, and does not even allow users to save web pages for later use.

About 2 weeks ago, iPhone users welcomed MoboTap’s new alternate solution for web browsing, an app named Dolphin Browser, initially built for Android devices. The browser enjoyed rave reviews, but was released on the iPhone only– today, MoboTap fixed this, as Dolphin Browser HD for iPad has just been released.

iPhone Prototype Lost in a Bar – Again

For some strange reason, Apple engineers working on yet-to-be-released iPhones have a tendency to lose their prototypes in the Bay Area bars: earlier today, CNET reported that an iPhone 5 prototype was lost by an Apple employee in a bar, about a year after another employee lost an iPhone 4 prototype the exact same way– note that this time around, the bar was the Cava22 Lounge in San Francisco.

The phone was most likely used for field-testing purposes, and once the engineer realized he lost his device, Apple worked doubles shifts to recover it as soon as possible. As it turns out, the device was never recovered.

After enrolling Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) for production, Apple is about to hire the services of another Taiwan-based company, Siliconware Precision Industries (SPIL), to package and test the new chips.
