While the iPhone Dev Team is still giving final touches to the untethered version of its redsn0w jailbreak tool for iOS 4.2.1, it looks like the Chronic Dev Team just managed to trump them: the Chronic Dev Team just released a new version of its very own iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak, dubbed greenpois0n RC5.
greenpois0n RC5 is compatible with all iOS-powered devices running iOS 4.2.1 (iPad, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and and fourth generation iPod touch). The jailbreak is available
here – note that the website is currently being hammered by a large amount of requests, so be patient if you cannot download the tool right away.
