According to
Boy Genius Report, Apple is planning to release iOS 4.3.1 within the next two weeks. The new iteration of the operating system will only fix minor bugs, including:
- Baseband updates for the iPhone 3GS and first generation iPad
- Fixes memory hang that results in memory corruption when reading large files from USIM filesystems
- Fixes problem with NTLM authentication in apps and on websites
- Fixes issue with the Springboard and third party apps not recognizing the gyroscope on the iPad 2
- Fixes iPad 2 jailbreak vulnerability
At this stage, the site cannot confirm that the update will be for all iOS-powered devices – this time around, the Verizon compatible iPhone 4 may be included, as the device still uses iOS 4.2.6 at this stage.
