The key feature of Meet The Tweet is providing a Twitter timeline to everyone that does not possess a Twitter account. From now on, ANYONE who got Meet The Tweet installed on an iPhone or iPod Touch is able to enjoy tweets. The app features everything a normal Twitter account does: viewing other user's profiles, timelines and mentions, viewing trending topics, favorite tweets, email tweets, copy tweets and much more! The only thing you cannot do, is sending out tweets. As of version 2, the app can be used on WiFi networks as well as mobile networks and does not apply a rate limit to users anymore.

Why would you pay 1.99$ for this app, if you could easily create a real Twitter account for free? Because using Meet The Tweet, you don't need to remember any Twitter username or password and you don't have to cope with spam mentions!
