NewRoute lets you create and keep track of your routes: running, walking, cycling, or driving. Use it to plan where to go, or find out how far you went once you get back.
Create routes by simply tapping where you want to go on the map; NewRoute will draw the route for you, tracing along the closest road or trail.
View street level imagery along the path of your route to help you decide the best way to go.
Track your current location on routes that you've created.
Organize your routes into groups. Sort routes by distance. Easily change the units from miles to kilometers. Edit routes once you've created them.
Backup your routes to iCloud and sync them across all your devices.
Export routes in GPX format. Send pictures of your routes to your friends. Share routes with other NewRoute users through email or AirDrop.
Note: By default NewRoute helps you create routes that are optimized for running or walking. To create routes optimized for cycling or driving, tap the info button when planning a route and select Bike Route or Car Route. Select a Car Route if you would like NewRoute to take advantage of highways when tracing routes. Set your default route type in the NewRoute section of the Settings app.
