StartingLineup is currently free. Apologies to anyone who purchased recently. It's been a while since the app was updated, so it is what it is.

StartingLineup is a mobile team management system designed for use by coaches of ice hockey teams. It includes a comprehensive set of features including:

- Integrated management of player, game, and practice information.

- Integrated mapping of practice and game locations.

- Real-time statistics gathering.

- Integrated video analysis and playback.

- Integrated practice planning including a drill designer module.

- Integrated email support to allow for efficient communication to players of schedule changes.

- The app includes the ability to quickly review past events by linking directly into video clips of previous games.

- It allows for very detailed tracking of game events. For example, you can quickly analyze the location from which shots were taken by each player during each period.

- It supports playback of video to external screens. If you have purchased the optional VGA adapter for your iPad, you can potentially plug into a large-screen TV.

- It integrates support for videos hosted online at YouTube.

Known Limitations of Version 1.04

- There are a limited number of pre-loaded arena locations (most are in southern Ontario, Canada)
- There is no pre-loaded collection of practice drills.

Known Issues with Version 1.04

- There is a problem with adding videos that are stored in your iPhoto library on the iPad. Once a video is selected, the video player window is blanked. The current workaround is to close the app and re-open. Once the app is restarted, you can play the video that you have selected.
- Videos added from Vimeo are currently not working.
- Occasional crashes have been reported when entering the 'Team Stats' page. Restart the app and you should be able to access this page without problems.
